Sign On Letter to KFC Asking Company to Drop SFI

A sign-on letter from national and regional environmental organizations including Dogwood Alliance, Sierra Club, Greenpeace, NRDC and RAN that calls on KFC to drop the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.  The groups present the case because the SFI allows for logging of endangered forests, large-scale clearcutting, conversion of natural forests to plantations and the worst of the worst practices in the woods.  KFC is asked to stop greenwashing its packaging and instead use less paper, use more recycled fiber, and switch the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification scheme which is embraced by the broad conservation community in the US.
