A report detailing the first year of Bowater's compliance with and progress towards the environmental commitments set forth by the company in its Memorandum of Understanding with Dogwood Alliance and NRDC in 2005. These commitments were focused on protecting endangered forests on the Cumberland Plateau and damaging industrial forestry practices including the conversion of native hardwood forests to lifeless pine plantations and methods of aerial spraying.
